2021 LOCKDOWN commencing 6th January
With the benefit of experience gained during previous national lockdowns our intention continues that disruption to services provided and arranged by Orchard will be kept to a minimum although some changes are inevitable in recognition of the risk of transmission of Covid – 19.
Service visits may be limited to reduce the potential risk from possible contamination of communal area surfaces. Communal area cleaning will continue to be varied to include anti-bacterial wipe-down of communal door handles, handrails etc instead of some of some otherwise routine duties. Continuation of this service through lockdown will be at the discretion of the cleaning personnel with personal welfare and the welfare of residents being primary.
All meetings and routine inspections by Property Managers will be suspended until lockdown further notice although emergency/urgent visits may be allowed subject to no face-to-face meeting with residents.
In compliance with Government instructions Orchard staff are working from home where able.
Our office has a minimal staff presence and is closed for all personal visits.
Incoming phone calls will be responded to by requested personnel returning your call once details have been provided.
Repairs and maintenance will continue where possible subject to the common-sense of not placing anyone at potential risk of infection.
All trades persons will be required to wear face masks and disposable gloves / use hand sanitiser when attending site; gloves to be disposed of between visits to different sites.
If Public Health England guidance changes this statement will be updated.
